Abstract

Mahdavi governance is a new and emerging topic. Such a new and emerging subject requires fresh scientific and research-based studies so that it can be established within the people, society, and both religious and academic centers through discourse creation and cultural development. One of the important ways to achieve discourse creation, cultural development, and ultimately the institutionalization of Mahdavi governance in society and academic centers is through the application of theoretical and epistemological discussions on the one hand, and by analyzing the epistemological foundations of Mahdavi governance on the other. The foundations of Mahdavi governance, which justify the principle and issues of Mahdavi governance, are categorized into various areas, such as ontological, teleological, axiological, theological, and sociological foundations. However, the theoretical and epistemological models of Mahdavi governance, which form the basis of theoretical and epistemological discussions of Mahdavi governance, are manifested in three theoretical categories: the model of "law of movement," the model of "theoretical and scientific reason," and the model of "four causes." The foundations and theoretical models of Mahdavi governance, which justify the principle and issues of Mahdavi governance, are justified in the realm of external and general discussions within the philosophy of Mahdavi governance. This paper adopts a qualitative approach, using documentary and library-based data collection methods and explanatory and analytical data processing techniques.
